Looks to be a K5. Probably pre-war, as they changed up the front on these almost immediately afterward with the KB5.

You could, but I would keep it intact. That's what makes the truck so cool. As for the liquid to put into the tank I have no clue.

My dad works at an International service shop and he sees stuff like this all the time. Latest one was like this but more a of a cab-over but had a Cummins in it. Really neat.
